Everybody speaks about “organizational culture” and very often people say that you need to invest into it. That seems definitely true, but it is really hard to visualize WHAT culture you want to have in the organization and WHAT culture there is in your organization.
But, what makes it so hard? Culture is often seen as something hard to grasp, and therefore it appears to be invisible for us. But the culture develops – if you pay close attention to it or not. There is also a culture within the reach of your influence and a culture outside your reach of influence. Nevertheless, culture is everywhere.
How can you influence the culture in your organization? Regardless of your position in the company, your action are impacting the culture. In our workshop, we will explore apparently unimportant, business-as-usual events of the day-to-day organizational life, and dive into the influence over the organizational culture: What culture does this event promote and what culture does it discourage? In other words, how do all the littles things we do end up shaping culture?
